Welcome to Twin Creek Wind Farm

A new wind farm project in Australia

Acknowledgement of Country

We pay our respects to the Traditional Custodians of the Country on which RES projects are located. We recognise their ongoing connection to land and waterways, and pay our respects to their Elders past and present.

The Project

RES is developing the Twin Creek Wind Farm and Energy Storage Project located 90 km north east of Adelaide, in the Mid North area of South Australia, between the towns of Kapunda, Eudunda and Truro. The project is located within three local government areas, Light Regional, Goyder Regional and Mid Murray Councils.

RES has now lodged the final Planning Application for the Project with the State Planning Commission. The Planning Application will start  public notification on 5 March 2025.

Members of the public are invited to make a written representation on the Project during the consultation period.

A copy of the full Planning Application will be exhibited publicly during the formal consultation period on the SA Government Planning Portal’s website.  You can access the website via this link https://plan.sa.gov.au/have_your_say/notified_developments/state_developments

During the consultation period,  hard copies of the planning application will also be available for viewing during business hours at Council offices:

  • Kapunda Office of the Light Regional Council, 93 Main Street, Kapunda;
  • Eudunda Office of the Regional Council of Goyder, 25 Bruce Street, Eudunda;
  • Cambrai Office of the Mid Murray Council, Main Street, Cambrai

The consultation period will run for a minimum of 15 business days.

RES is committed to giving back to the communities that host our renewable energy projects. Should the Project proceed through to construction, a benefit sharing program will be established to provide benefits to the local community and Project neighbours during the 30+ year operating life of the Project. The program will provide positive and lasting benefits to the local community that extend beyond the life of the Project. RES has commenced early discussions on the benefit sharing program with Councils and community groups. Please contact us if you would like to contribute your ideas.
